The Cooperative Difference
Consolidated Gas - one of the family of companies of Consolidated Electric Cooperative, Inc., is located in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
Consolidated Gas is a not-for-profit propane cooperative that was formed to supply a unique metered propane service to the community. The Co-op is owned by the people it serves, who are "members."
Not-for-Profit
As a not-for-profit cooperative, any earnings, or margins, are returned to the customer in the form of patronage capital or "capital credits."Cooperatives are focused on meeting the needs of their members with quality products and services that enhance people’s lives.
Cooperatives are also actively involved in the community, and follow the "Seven Cooperative Principles."
